Simon Jordan’s quest to get under the skin of both Sunderland and Celtic supporters continues.
The outspoken former Crystal Palace chairman has been vocal on social media about both clubs of late, describing Sunderland’s players as “utter tripe” and claiming that Celtic would last only three seasons in the English Premier League – “autumn, winter and spring”.
And for his latest trick, he’s managed to take a dig at both clubs simultaneously, suggesting that Celtic’s Scottish Premiership title success could be matched by any of the top 20 clubs south of the border, bar one.
And there’s no prizes for guessing who, by the way.

Winless and goalless in their last seven Premier League fixtures, Sunderland appear resigned to relegation after ten successive seasons as a top flight club.
Mackems boss David Moyes was one of several names in the frame to take on the Celtic post a year ago, with Brendan Rodgers eventually appointed by the Bhoys.

And the Northern Irishman has already overseen progress at Celtic Park, leading his side into the Champions League group stage for the first time in two years and keeping them unbeaten in all 32 of his league games so far.
