Derby County beat Leeds United in a stunning fashion to book their place in the play-off final.

Former Premier League owner Simon Jordan has let rip at Leeds United’s senior figure Andrea Radrizzani following his comments about Derby County.
The Italian stated that Derby selling Pride Park to their owner Mel Morris is ‘greater cheating’ than ‘Spygate’, as quoted by the Telegraph.
As The Telegraph report states Radrizzani has suggested that the Rams should face sanctions after they recorded a pre-tax profit of £14.6 million largely thanks to their home stadium being sold to Morris for £80 million.
Speaking to Jim White on TalkSport (22/05/2019 at 10:15 am), former Crystal Palace owner Jordan simply wasn’t impressed with Radrizzani’s comments as he bluntly told him that his team ‘failed’ in their quest to reach the Premier League this season.
“Radrizzani has to zip it up it up a little bit,” Jordan told TalkSport. “He had the same feelings about Wolves last year. If he doesn’t like the fact that you can do a sale-leaseback on a stadium which is what Derby have done then he had every opportunity at annual meetings to put it forward as a vote to change the structure of things.
“In the meantime, if you haven’t done that, sit down and shut your mouth and get on with the fact that your team failed to take an opportunity, and in my view, snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
“I think it’s ill-mannered. I think it’s unnecessary. I think Mel [Derby owner] can take the magnanimous position because he’s the winner at the end of it.”

Derby ended Leeds’ chances of reaching the Premier League after beating them at Elland Road in the play-off semi-final just over a week ago.
During the regular Championship season, Marcelo Bielsa’s side ran out comfortable winners against Frank Lampard’s side, but they became unstuck when it mattered most.
Added with that, their fixtures this season have been marred by drama and controversy following the Spygate saga in January, which left those in Derby colours unimpressed.
