Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United lost to Brentford on Monday.

Simon Johnson has stated on Twitter that he is surprised that Leeds United have allowed themselves to slip down to third in the Championship table.
Just a few weeks ago, Leeds were looking strong for a top-two finish in the Championship and automatic promotion to the Premier League.
However, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have lost their last two league fixtures and are now three points behind Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, who are currently second in the standings.
Leeds are six points behind leaders Norwich City, and with just two more rounds of matches left in the Championship this season, it does look likely that the Whites will not end up in the automatic promotion spots.
Former Leeds attacking midfielder Johnson has admitted his surprise on Twitter at the Whites slipping up.
The 36-year-old has also suggested that Leeds should have signed a top striker in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, former Leeds midfielder Andy Couzens has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the Whites’ 2-0 defeat to Brentford away from home in the Championship on Monday, and believes that it is now the playoffs for the West Yorkshire outfit.
