Sunderland are set to bring in more new signings before the end of the transfer window.
The Black Cats have already been highly active, as Grayson reshapes his squad for the upcoming campaign.
The likes of Tyias Browning, Jason Steele, Lewis Grabban and James Vaughan have all signed up at the Stadium of Light.
But Grayson insists that the new arrivals at Sunderland are not set to stop any time soon.
“There are players who will leave in the next few days and weeks while the window is still open and new ones will come in,” Grayson said.
”The ones we bring in are going to have to be the right types, with hunger and desire.
“I’ve said to the players that if anyone doesn’t want to be at the football club my door is open and I’ll drive you to wherever you want to go to.
“I want players who want to play for this football club.”
Whether Grayson will be able to sign any more quality before Sunderland’s season starts remains to be seen.
The Black Cats get their Championship campaign under way on Friday evening, when they take on Derby County in what looks like a tough first test.
Sunderland go into the competitive campaign on the back of a 5-0 defeat against Celtic in pre-season, which has caused great concern.
Sunderland were thoroughly outplayed by Brendan Rodgers’ side, and will need a huge improvement later this week, if they are to get anything against Derby.
