Sunderland are expected to make further additions before the end of the transfer window.
The Black Cats are still on the look out for new additions this summer, and Grayson insists that he is not short of options.
Players, who are already under contract, are reportedly texting Grayson urging him to give them a chance at the Stadium of Light.

He said: “Players keep ringing and texting me asking to come. It’s embarrassing really because they are other people’s players but it is part and parcel of why this club can attract individuals.
“The size of the football club, mostly working with myself, they know what we like and the attraction of playing at the Stadium of Light and the training facilities we’ve got, this club can go places.
“Sometimes you have to take a step back to go forward again and that’s the process we are in at this moment.”
Sunderland have just sold Jeremain Lens, which has provided them with some more money to spend.
Sunderland are expected to invest before the close of the month, as they look to put the final alterations on their team.
The Black Cats still have work to do, if Grayson is to feel satisfied that his squad has the capabilities to make a promotion challenge.
Sunderland begun their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Derby County last Friday, and their performance in that contest was fairly encouraging.
Grayson’s side are next in action later this evening, when they take on Bury in the League Cup.
