Sunderland defender Tyias Browning will not be available to face Bristol City.

Browning has not featured in either of Sunderland’s last two matches, due to a hamstring complaint.
The Everton loanee was expected to return for Grayson’s side’s next match, which comes against Bristol City on Saturday.

However, it seems that Browning’s injury may not have recovered as quickly as expected, as Grayson has now hinted that the defender could remain on the sidelines for the next fortnight.
“Tyias had a little setback on Thursday with his hamstring, so we’ll see where he’s going to be for the next couple of games,” Grayson said.
If Browning is unable to play at the weekend that will be a blow, as Sunderland have missed his presence at the back.

The Black Cats impressively scored three times against Brentford in their most recent outing, but they were still not able to hold on to claim the victory, as they let a lead slip.
Sunderland put themselves into a commanding position at Griffin Park, but ended up drawing the game 3-3.
Grayson’s side’s failure to win leaves them sitting in 23rd place in the Championship table, after a terrible opening to the campaign.
