Celtic defeated Motherwell 5-1 to extend their domestic unbeaten run.

Celtic extended their domestic unbeaten run to 67 games, after they defeated Motherwell 5-1 at Parkhead in the Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers included third-choice striker Odsonne Edouard in the starting line-up, and he returned his manager’s faith with a finely taken hat-trick.
The French striker opened the scoring in 16th minute, and added his second in the 35th minute with a brilliant shot into the corner.

Tom Rogic had a goal disallowed before the break. Elliott Frear’s goal threatened a comeback, but James Forrest scored twice and Edouard added another to put the game beyond doubt.
With that result, Celtic have extended their lead at the top to seven points. Second placed Aberdeen will host Rangers on Sunday, while Hibernian jumped to third position.

Motherwell, who gave Celtic two tougher matches prior to this one, looked like a team lacking the intensity.
Former Celtic player Simon Donnelley took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction after the game.
