Simon Donnelly has suggested on Twitter that Celtic should appoint Neil Lennon as their permanent manager.
Lennon is in charge of Celtic until the end of the season and was placed in the role following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City.
Former Celtic star Donnelly has suggested on Twitter that the Glasgow giants should appoint Lennon as their permanent manager.
Donnelly has also suggested that Scottish midfielder Scott Brown should be appointed in the player-assistant manager’s role.
The former Celtic star got the idea following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s success at Manchester United in recent weeks.
Under Solskjaer, who was appointed the caretaker-manager of United in December 2018 following the departure of Jose Mourinho, the Red Devils are back in the race for the Premier League top four and have also reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.
Celtic have already won the Scottish League Cup, and have progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup and are also eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
