Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Juve Live revealed that Douglas Costa could be a potential replacement for Raphinha.
The Italian news outlet state that Raphinha is of interest to Liverpool, and that Marcelo Bielsa’s side are eyeing potential replacements.
One of those is Costa, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Juventus.
Juve Live say that it’s unlikely the Bundesliga giants will sign him permanently, which means he’s on the market this summer.
Leeds would be looking to sign someone with similar attributes to Raphinha, and the 30-year-old fits the bill.
Just like the Leeds No.18, he is rapid, likes to dribble infield on his left foot, and also boasts impressive long-range shooting ability.
However, he could be pricey.
Juve Live don’t mention a fee, but Juventus paid £35.2 million to sign him in 2018, so they’d presumably like a fair chunk of that back.
The 31-cap Brazil international isn’t enjoying the best of seasons, as he has just one goal and three assists in 21 games for Bayern Munich this term.
However, there’s no denying that he’s a quality player, having won ten league titles throughout his career.
