Silva makes a change, one debut: Fulham’s predicted XI vs Nottingham Forest

Fulham head to the City Ground on Friday evening as they gear up to face Nottingham Forest in what could be an absolutely vital game for both newly-promoted clubs.

Fulham have started brilliantly upon their return to the Premier League, and a win here could see the Whites break into the top six.

Sadly, the same can’t be said about Nottingham Forest. The Reds’ last game was an absolute shocker against Bournemouth and they’ll be desperate for a better result this time around.

A loss here could absolutely kill any sort of momentum Forest still have after their promotion, but as Fulham have shown this season, they’re no pushovers.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Whites’ starting XI for this one.

We think that Marco Silva will make just one change from the team that lost to Tottenham a fortnight ago.

Indeed, Antonee Robinson drops out after picking up a knock against Spurs, meaning that Layvin Kurzawa comes in at left-back to make his debut.

Kurzawa isn’t match-fit quite yet, but after a disasterclass from Kevin Mbabu at left-back against Spurs, we think that Silva may risk his new signing here.

The rest of the back five remains the same, while Joao Palhinha and Harrison Reed also start in the midfield.

Harry Wilson is back in training, but he’s not fit enough to start here. However, Silva does have a few selection headaches on the wings.

Daniel James and Willian will be vying to start, but we think that the Fulham gaffer will stick with Neeskens Kebano and Bobby Decordova-Reid after their bright starts to the season.

Andreas Pereira starts just behind Aleksandar Mitrovic in the attack.
