Gary Neville has hit out at the ‘silly’ Tyrone Mings for taking a risk in Aston Villa’s visit of Leeds United tonight.
It’s half time at Villa Park and Leeds are trailing 1-0.
Leon Bailey opened the scoring for Aston Villa after only three minutes.
But Jesse Marsch’s side might have, on another night, earned a penalty shortly before the half-time whistle.
Wilfried Gnonto was contesting a corner with the big Aston Villa powerhouse and got thrown to the floor.

And Neville has said live on Sky Sports [40 mins] that it was a risky move by the big man against the Leeds teenager.
He said: “Silly actually from Mings because he can get the other side of him [Gnonto] without grabbing his shirt. Gnonto was trying to be a nuisance and he just got chucked out of the way.”
Despite trailing at the break, you could argue that Leeds have been the brighter of both sides.
Obviously Unai Emery’s side have an early goal to protect from Bailey, but Leeds have done the majority of the running.
Two Villa players – Lucas Digne and Ollie Watkins – have gone off injured and that has probably upset the hosts’ rhythm to some extent.
Problem is, Leeds, who have had a goal chalked off for offside, look relatively toothless in attack despite boasting a lot of possession and it promises to be a fascinating second 45 minutes.
