Everton are aiming to return to winning ways when they take on West Ham.

Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has urged the club to bounce back by taking six points from their upcoming home games against West Ham United and Huddersfield Town.
Still without a permanent manager following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman, Everton, under the temporary charge of David Unsworth, are in woeful form at present and were beaten 4-1 away by Southampton yesterday.
However, Everton now have two home games in quick succession as they face West Ham on Wednesday and Huddersfield Town on Saturday, with Sigurdsson seeing this as the perfect opportunity to stage a response.

As reported by Sky Sports, Sigurdsson said: “All of the players are determined to turn this around. We need a little bit of luck, we got back into the game but we need to make sure we take advantage of those situations.
“The positive thing is we have two more games this week. We must go into the next one with a bit of positivity and try to get something from the game.
“We have two very important games coming up now. We are playing at home and we need to get six points.”

Sigurdsson scored a fine goal against Southampton to provide Everton supporters with a brief moment of delight, but the Iceland international has struggled to settle since his summer switch from Swansea City.
It is clear that, with Unsworth out of his depth and the team sorely devoid of cohesion, Everton need to appoint a permanent manager quickly if they are to stand any chance of improving their fortunes.
It seems that Unsworth will remain in charge against West Ham and Everton will certainly hope that playing at home will give them a much-needed boost.
