Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to Federico Chiesa.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with an ambitious move for Federico Chiesa.
The Sun reports Spurs are keen on the Fiorentina ace, but note he could cost as much as £70 million (81.8m Euros).
This would be a staggering deal, and it’s not just Tottenham’s reluctance to spend which makes it unlikely.
Tottenham’s record spend is the £42 million laid out to sign Davinson Sanchez in 2017.
This past year they did not spend anything.
Just as unlikely as Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy putting the money up, is Chiesa moving.
Italian players rarely leave Serie A for overseas moves.

Jorginho’s £57 million move to Chelsea this summer was the record spent paid for an Italian player.
Before that, the most expensive Italian to transfer was Christian Vieri, who made the move from Lazio to Inter in 1999.
Another big move was Federico Bernardeschi’s move from Fiorentina to Juventus last summer, for 40 million Euros. (Fee data via Goal)
Tottenham paying £70 million for Chiesa would be a top 15 transfer of all time.
Chiesa is under contract until 2022 and Fiorentina are under no pressure to sell.
He is starring for the club where his dad Enrico Chiesa played for three seasons between 1999 and 2002.
There is no guarantee that even if Spurs paid up the money, that he would choose to go, and there will be competition from Italian clubs, with Roma and Juventus interested (via TMW)
