Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make an addition in the January transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that he is open to doing business in January, but only if the right deal is available, as per his comments to Football.London.
Spurs have been quiet in the January transfer window so far, with very little activity occurring at White Hart Lane.
However, Pochettino claims that he is open to making additions if the opportunity arises this month.
“I am happy with all the areas of my squad,” the Argentine boss said. “We are always open to improve but January is a very difficult market.”
Tottenham were linked with Real Madrid’s Isco before the January window opened, but those rumours have gone quiet recently.
Pochettino could be eager to bolster his options at Spurs though, as his side challenge for the title.
Tottenham are currently in third place in the Premier League table, after beating Chelsea 2-0 in their most recent fixture.
Spurs have now moved to within seven points of Antonio Conte’s league leaders.
Tottenham are next in action this weekend, when they take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
