Burnley should make a move for the West Ham United ace this summer.

Sean Dyche has worked wonders at Burnley, since taking over as manager way back in October 2012, and if he is to guide his side to another stellar campaign this season, he will obviously have to bolster his ranks even further still at Turf Moor.

One area where Dyche will certainly want to strengthen is his wide attacking department, with more competition required for the likes of Robbie Brady and Aaron Lennon, and an interesting option for the could be West Ham’s Michail Antonio.

SkyBET list the Clarets as second favourites to sign the 28-year-old this summer, but surprisingly, he hasn’t really been linked with a move to Lancashire by any reputable outlets.

Dyche should not hesitate to bring the Hammers work-horse to Burnley this summer, though.

Antonio joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £7 million, and he has proven himself to be a top level performer.

The pacey winger is an incredibly hard worker, so he would fit perfectly into Dyche’s setup at Turf Moor, but he also possesses a wonderful array of tricks, and a direct playing style that would help the Clarets improve upon the potency of their play in the final third.

He is also extremely versatile, and can play in a variety of positions including right-wing, right-back and even centre-forward.

This would be incredibly useful for Burnley considering the small size of their current squad.

Antonio’s wage demands could be a problem, however, with Spotrac reporting that he currently earns £70,000 per week at West Ham, but following Burnley’s seventh placed finish last term, and the subsequent riches that came their way, they should be able to offer the Hammers man an acceptable package.
