Wolverhampton Wanderers are allegedly preparing a move for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Wolves are eyeing a late swoop for Tottenham hitman Vincent Janssen, but bringing the Dutchman to Molinuex would represent a massive risk for the Black Country outfit.
The 24-year-old joined Spurs from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2016, but he has proven to be nothing short of a complete flop during his time in north London, scoring just six goals for the club.
Janssen was a more than capable striker with AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie, but it seems as though he is just not cut out for the intense, robust nature of the Premier League.
Wolves are in need of another striker, that is without question, but the Spurs man surely isn’t the type of forward they need.
He is incredible immobile, and offers little as far as a focal point for his team’s attacking play.

The 24-year-old has proven time and time again that he is simply not cut-out for English football, and the manner in which Wolves like to work the ball into the box really would not suit the 6ft striker’s playing style.
Janssen’s goal record should be a real concern for Wolves, and if they do their due diligence, they can surely find better value for the £12 million that Tottenham are demanding (Daily Mail) for the Holland international.
