Mauricio Pochettino appears to have made Tanguy Ndombele one of his top transfer targets at Tottenham Hotspur.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy feels he can get Tanguy Ndombele for £50 million and that would be outstanding business.

Lyon have been asking for £70 million, but Levy believes he can save £20 million on that deal, as Mauricio Pochettino attempts to strengthen Tottenham’s midfield.

While Spurs fans have been frustrated with their lack of progress in the transfer window, it may be worth being patient in their pursuit of Ndombele.

If Tottenham can bring in the French international then it would be exceptional business.

Not only would Tottenham have one of the most talented midfielders in Ligue 1 in their squad, they would also complete one of the best value for money signings of the summer.

Ndombele has the ability to be worth far more than £50 million if he fulfils his potential, and at the age of 22 he could feature in Spurs’ midfield for over a decade.

And Pochettino and Levy could feel delighted if their transfer plan comes off, as Spurs would be doing some brilliant business.
