Wolverhampton Wanderers said to be keen to snap up Paddy McNair from Sunderland.

Wolverhampton Wanderers would be taking a gamble by signing Paddy McNair from Sunderland this summer.
And if Wolves were to pay such a fee for a player who is entirely unproven at the top level then it would have to be considered a risk.

McNair showed his quality in the final few games of last season, when he netted four goals in Sunderland’s last five matches in the Championship.
However, his injury record is a major concern, and if Wolves fail to keep him off the treatment table then his value would drop massively.

Wolves have generally been linked to high profile signings throughout the summer so far, but McNair’s addition would show a different tactic from Nuno’s side.
And although the signing of the Northern Ireland international could be an attractive one if he goes on to fulfil his potential, it could also turn into a disaster if his injury problems persist.
