The Newcastle United hitman is a reported summer transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has a busy summer ahead of him, if he is to build a squad capable of challenging for a top 10 finish in the Premier League table next season.
According to the Chronicle, one of the Portuguese’s prime targets this summer is Newcastle hitman Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan with Fulham, and he has been in sensational form since moving to Craven Cottage in January, scoring 11 goals in 15 outings thus far.
The 35-capped Serbia international possesses undoubted talent, but has struggled to establish himself on Tyneside since making his £14.5 million move from Anderlecht in the summer of 2015.

Mitrovic has been a totally different player during his loan spell at Craven Cottage, however, and is finally showing what he is truly capable of.
The 23-year-old is is incredibly strong in the air, and acts as a fantastic focal point for his team.
He would offer Nuno a totally different option through the middle next season, should Wolves need to approach a particular game in a more direct manner.

It has been claimed that the Magpies forward could be available for around £20 million this summer, and in today’s day and age, that actually represents decent value.
Judging by his recent form, bringing Mitrovic to Molineux seems like a smart move for Wolves, and it could turn out to be a masterstroke by Nuno.
