West Bromwich Albion should attempt to sign the experienced free agent.

West Brom boss Darren Moore has already outlined his desire to bring in more new signings before the end of this summer’s loan window, but he should also be looking at the free agent market.
Following the exits of Jonny Evans and Ali Gabr, the Baggies are still light in the centre-back department, and with this in mind, they should attempt to bring former West Ham defender James Collins to the Hawthorns on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old was released by the Hammers this summer, but he still has a lot to offer, certainly at Championship level at the very least.
Collins is a total warrior, and possesses all of the physical attributes required to be a success in England’s second tier.

The 51-capped Wales international is strong in the air, and is a fantastic communicator and organiser. He would bring much need stability to West Brom’s back-line, and his experience of playing in promotion-winning campaigns would surely prove to be a great asset to Darren Moore’s side.
Collins would surely be keen to join the Baggies, and a move for the Welshman is surely a no-brainer for Moore, as he looks to add further quality to his ranks at the Hawthorns.
