Leeds United should consider signing the experienced free agent.

Marcelo Bielsa has made a wonderful start to his tenure in charge of Leeds, but the Argentine would be foolish to not be monitoring the free transfer market, in an effort to bolster his ranks further still.
One useful option for the Whites could be free agent James Collins, who is currently attracting attention from Championship side Ipswich Town.
Leeds’ options are currently rather limited in central defence, and bringing in someone with the Welshman’s quality and experience could prove to be vital to their chances of securing promotion back to the Premier League.
Collins, 35, is a solid defender, and he would add a certain level of experienced cover to Bielsa’s central defensive ranks.
He would arguably be an upgrade on Liam Cooper, and could form a rock solid pairing with Leeds cult hero Pontus Jansson.

The 51-capped Wales international is strong in the air, and plays with a certain kind of tenacity and aggression that makes him ideally suited to the robust nature of the Championship.
Whilst the centre-back is past his prime, he still has a lot to offer at the very highest level, and his availability on a free transfer surely makes signing him a no-brainer for Leeds.
