Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly preparing a deal for a 28-cap Dutch international.

The Istanbul Basakehir winger has previously struggled in the Premier League following a loan spell with Southampton during the 2014-15 campaign.
But the 31-year-old’s talent has never been in question and for £1.5 million it could represent an excellent piece of business by Wolves if the transfer materialises.
Elia, who has 28 caps for his country, scored 17 goals in 55 Eredivisie games for Feyenoord which, for a winger, represents a very decent return, and helped them to a Dutch league title last term.

He joined the Turkish side on a three-year deal last summer and has netted five times in 17 starts for the Istanbul outfit.
In the modern market, £1.5 million is peanuts – especially for a club like Wolves – and signing Elia for that amount makes sense.
There so little for Nuno Espirito Santo to lose, but plenty to potentially gain.
