Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly keeping an eye on the prolific Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, who has a remarkable Serie A record.

In a remarkable turn of fate, Liverpool’s defence, rather than their star-studded attack, has hogged the plaudits with Jurgen Klopp’s side four points clear the top of the Premier League table.
Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane remain arguably the most fearsome front line anywhere in European football right now but the common consensus remains that the much-vaunted trio have not quite lived up to the remarkably high standards they set last year.
Firmino, in particular, has come in for criticism in some quarters after scoring just 10 times in 30 games. So signing a real natural-born goalscorer to provide competition in attack could be exactly what Liverpool need as they aim to bring an overdue end to 29 years without a league title.
And Ciro Immobile could be exactly that. According to Il Messaggero, The Reds have been watching a striker who hit a remarkable 41 goals in all competitions for Lazio last season and has another 13 so far in 2018/19.

Now, the 28-year-old has had a mixed career, failing at Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and during a second spell at Torino but he has developed into one of Europe’s most feared hit men at the Stadio Olimpico.
So just imagine if Liverpool could bring Immobile into their front three if Firmino, Salah or Mane are in need of a breather.
The dead-eyed Italian would surely establish The Reds as Europe’s most ruthless attacking force.
