West Ham United should consider making a move for the Chelsea hitman.

West Ham have already been busy during this summer’s transfer window, but Manuel Pellegrini’s business is surely far from being done just yet.
The Chilean has brought in Issa Dip from Toulouse, Lukasz Fabiański from Swansea City, and he is on the verge of completing a deal to bring Lazio’s Felipe Anderson to the London Stadium, according to a report from the Telegraph.

If the Hammers do complete the signing of the Brazilian, even the most critical of West Ham fans would find it hard to class this transfer window as anything other than a success.

One area where West Ham do still need to strengthen, however, is their centre-forward department, and with this in mind, they should consider a move for Chelsea hitman Michy Batshuayi.
The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Borussia Dortmund, and really impressed for the Bundesliga outfit, chalking up nine goals in 14 outings.
Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth £33.2 million, but he failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge.

It could be argued that he hasn’t been given ample opportunity to prove himself, however, and a move to the London Stadium could be just what he needs to help reinvigorate his career.
The Belgium international is incredibly quick, and his blistering pace would offer Pellegrini something entirely different in the final third.
His future at Chelsea looks bleak with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud ahead of him in the pecking order, and West Ham should test their London rival’s resolve with a bid for the striker this summer.
And if Pellegrini does in fact manage to bring Batshuayi to east London, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Hammers.
