Aston Villa are said to want to bring in the Manchester United youngster on loan again, with Steve Bruce looking to make additions.

According to the Express and Star, Aston Villa are keen on bringing back Axel Tuanzebe, but it would have to be considered a risky signing this time around.

Villa have such a limited budget that any expenditure on wages must be carefully considered.

And even bringing Tuanzebe in on loan could be a gamble from Steve Bruce’s side.

By bringing in Tuanzebe on loan, Villa would be picking him over a number of other potential temporary additions in defence, who could be more reliable.

Tuanzebe was at Villa last term and he showed his promise when on the pitch, but Bruce couldn’t keep him fit.

The youngster suffered injury on two separate occasions, and ended up making just five Championship appearances in half a season.

With Villa set to lose so many players this summer, Bruce simply won’t have the cover to deal with injuries that he once did.

And although Tuanzebe would be a quality addition, Bruce would be taking a gamble on the United man staying fit for the whole campaign, if the transfer is to prove a worthwhile one.
