You can’t blame the supporters for fearing the worst.
After all, their 2020-21 campaign was decimated by key players being absent and in some cases, like with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, they missed virtually the entire season.
With Georginio Wijnaldum gone, Naby Keita being injury prone and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain more of a false nine these days, Liverpool can’t afford this Thiago issue to develop into something more serious.
But as of now, there is very little evidence in that and even Klopp himself reiterated that it was a minor problem and that he’d be back in full training next week.
