Some Arsenal fans have responded to Folarin Balogun’s post on Twitter and have urged him to sign a new contract.
Balogun is a very talented and promising young striker who is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.
According to Metro, talks over an extension to his current deal have stalled, with the 19-year-old striker frustrated with his current situation.
It has been reported that the teenager wants first-team opportunities and is considering leaving the Emirates Stadium.
Balogun was in action for the Arsenal Under-23 side against their Blackburn Rovers counterparts on Friday.
The teenager has expressed his delight on Twitter at the 6-0 win, and some Arsenal fans have responded to it and have urged him to sign a new contract, as shown below.
Future at Arsenal?
Balogun is unlikely to get much playing time in the Arsenal first team in the coming weeks, as manager Mikel Arteta has enough options in that department.
However, the youngster should persevere and continue to work hard for the youth team.
The likes of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock have come through the academy and become part of the senior side, and Balogun could do the same in the future.
