His brilliant display certainly did him no harm though, and many Liverpool fans think that he could actually be an excellent addition to their squad this summer.
Liverpool are shopping on a limited budget, so Johnsson could be an addition who would fit into their price-range.
However, whether Jurgen Klopp’s side will actually target a back-up goalkeeper is questionable.
Adrian may have made some mishaps last season, but he remains a fairly capable deputy for Alisson, and it is unlikely that Liverpool would view the Spaniard as a player who urgently needs replacing.
