Newcastle United have been linked to Chelsea ace Michy Batshuayi after his impressive end to the season.
Belgian journalist Kristoff Terreur of HLN reported he is on Newcastle’s radar, backing up a claim in Voetball Nieuws which said Newcastle want to sign him.
With the Chronicle picking up on the claims too, rumours are gathering pace.
Now back in the Premier League, Newcastle would be laying down a marker if they manage to sign Batshuayi from Chelsea.

The Blues paid big money to sign him from Marseille last season but handed him just one Premier League start.
He still managed to score nine goals in all competitions, including a late end of season flourish which included four in his last three appearances.
He was expected to head for the exit either permanently or on loan, but his recent displays suggest the latter is most likely.
