Some Arsenal fans on social media are desperate to see Jack Wilshere signed up on a permanent contract after the club confirmed on Twitter that the former Gunners ace is once again training with the club.
Wilshere is a free agent right now after leaving Bournemouth at the end of last season and in a bid to regain a bit of fitness, he’s once again training with his former side.
As you can imagine, seeing Wilshere back at London Colney brought back a lot of good memories for Arsenal fans and they seriously want him to sign for the club once again.
So, will Wilshere be re-joining Arsenal? Mikel Arteta says that he won’t be and to be honest, bringing him back probably isn’t the best idea.
Wilshere didn’t shine in the Championship last season and with Arsenal hoping to qualify for European football next term, it’s hard to imagine the 29-year-old would be much of an asset.
Of course, nostalgia is a blinding factor and Arsenal fans seem to have been affected by this with many supporters online begging for the club to bring him back on a permanent basis.
