Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Bayer Leverkusen ace.

Liverpool were linked with a swoop for Bayer Leverkusen ace Leon Bailey today, according to Calcio Insider, and what a signing the Jamaican could turn out to be for the Merseyside outfit.
The 20-year-old winger was in fine form for the German club last season, chalking up 12 goals and six assists in 34 appearances in all competitions, and his explosive playing style seems to be ideally suited to Jürgen Klopp’s high octane setup at Anfield.

The Reds have already spent big this summer, and if they continue to add to their squad before the start of the new Premier League campaign, they will surely have to be considered as Manchester City’s nearest challengers.
Liverpool have arguably the most dangerous front three in world football, but if one of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah are forced to spend a sustained period on the sidelines, Klopp has little in reserve.

Bailey would be the ideal addition to the Reds’ squad, and would provide fierce competition for their famed front three.
This will be a vital summer for Liverpool, and signing Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen would go a long way to making up for Philippe Coutinho’s exit in January.
Here’s what Liverpool fans had to say about the prospect of signing the Jamaican…
