Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting to a report by Sport that claims Real Madrid are ready to sell Dani Ceballos this summer for €25m (£22m).
As you can imagine, Arsenal fans had a lot to say about this news after the Spanish midfielder spent the last season and a half on loan at the Emirates, and it’s clear that some supporters believe the club should jump at the chance to sign him this summer.
£22m for a 24-year-old Real Madrid player with 11 Spain caps to his name does seem like quite a good price, and some supporters believe this deal is a no brainer.
We can see where they’re coming from, Ceballos has been an important player for Arsenal this season, appearing 16 times in the Premier League, and this price isn’t a hefty fee to pay for a player of his quality.
Whether or not Mikel Arteta and Edu opt to sign Ceballos this summer remains to be seen, but if this is a deal Arsenal do get over the line, it will be a very popular decision amongst the fanbase.
