Olivier Giroud has had his fair share of critics during his time at Arsenal, and now Steve Sidwell, who spent his youth career with the Gunners, has had his say on the Frenchman when speaking live on Sky Sports Now at 10:12 am.
Giroud received two bookings last night and was sent off in stoppage time during the Gunners 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
Sidwell told Sky Sports how he believes that the 29-year-old should offer more to his side, considering the physical attributes that he possesses:

“The thing with Giroud that gets me is with his size and stature, he should do more for Arsenal than what he is doing.”
Some would argue that the criticism levelled at the former Montpellier hitman is unfair.
During his four-year spell at the Emirates, he has scored 82 goals in 190 appearances (142 starts). It is his all-round game, however, that is often overlooked, and his ability to bring others into play.

The 6 ft 4 in Frenchman will surely be a key figure for Arsenal again this season, especially after Arsene Wenger once again refused to sign a world-class striker, with the unproven Lucas Perez being the Gunners’ only attacking signing over the summer.
