Jamie O’Hara has rejected the suggestion that Tottenham Hotspur should sign Wilfried Zaha.
Gabby Agbonlahor recently encouraged Spurs to make a move for the Crystal Palace winger, who has netted 14 Premier League goals this calendar year.
Still only 29, Zaha is in the prime of his career and with his contract expiring next summer, could be available on the cheap during the January transfer window.
However, here is how former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara reacted to Agbonlahor’s talkSPORT [9.53 am, 19/10] comments.
He tweeted:

In fairness to Zaha, put him in a better team – like Spurs – and he’d be a much better player.
Yes, everyone knows he struggled at Manchester United, but the Ivory Coast international is a much more experienced and mature footballer now.
And anyone who can dazzle for Palace can almost certainly be a better player at a bigger outfit.
Some players are perfectly happy being a big fish in a small pond and then struggle when they get a transfer, but others, potentially like Zaha, benefit in a major way from playing alongside superior players.
Apart from him being a lifelong Arsenal supporter, which wouldn’t go down well with Tottenham fans, signing him actually wouldn’t be an awful idea.
