HITC Sport understands that Shrewsbury Town lead the race for Antoni Sarcevic.

Shrewsbury Town are set to land former Fleetwood Town midfielder Antoni Sarcevic on a free transfer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Sarcevic is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Fleetwood this summer, with the player announcing earlier this month he was leaving the Lancashire outfit, as reported by Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old joined Fleetwood from Chester in 2013 and quickly established himself as a big fans’ favourite at Highbury.

Sarcevic scored the winning goal in the League Two play-off final against Burton Albion to send Fleetwood up to League One in his debut season at the club.
The skilful midfielder made over 100 league appearances for Fleetwood during his time at the club, and a number of teams have expressed an interest in his services.

However, Shrewsbury have moved quickly to try and set up a deal for Sarcevic as they look to build a side capable of competing in League One next season.
Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon has already brought in three new signings so far this summer, and he hopes to add Sarcevic to his plans for next season.
