Glasgow Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty is impressing a lot of fans during his time away from Ibrox.

Rangers may be interested in the reaction that Greg Docherty got on social media as he took to Twitter to express his delight after an outstanding turnaround out on loan.
Of all of the loanees currently spending time away from Ibrox, Docherty is arguably the one who is making the biggest impact ahead of his return in the summer.
On Saturday, he provided his eighth assist of the League One season, while he has also scored six goals. No player in the squad has had a direct hand in more goals this season.
Nevertheless, the Gers youngster has surprisingly found himself struggling to force his way into the starting lineup in recent weeks. He has started just one of the Shrews’ last four games, and had to settle for a place on the bench against Wycombe Wanderers.

But Docherty would make a key impact on the game as he came on in the 80th minute when Shrewsbury were 1-0 down. His assist helped level the game up before the home side scored the winner from the penalty spot.
And after the Rangers-owned midfielder took to social media to comment on the dramatic comeback, he was met with a number of responses from Shrewsbury fans who cannot understand why manager Sam Ricketts will not put him in the starting lineup.

Docherty was always going to need a fantastic spell to prove a real point to Steven Gerrard. And while his loan will probably not see him immediately force his way into the starting lineup at Ibrox, he is clearly doing a superb job of giving the Rangers boss something to think about ahead of the summer.
Here is Docherty’s tweet as well as how some of the Shrewsbury fans responded…
