Alexandre Lacazette told Amazon Prime that Bukayo Saka showcased his quality during Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Brighton on Tuesday night.
It was Saka’s energetic run down the right-hand side which found Lacazette free as a bird inside the penalty area to score the only goal of the game for Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta had only just brought on the Frenchman, as he combined well with Arsenal’s thriving academy star.
Lacazette heaped praise on Saka after the game and how he is always improving.
“He [Saka] was very good,” said Lacazette. “Every game he improves. He shows his quality even if he’s young, he’s still working hard for the team, so everyone is happy with him.
“They [the youngsters] make me feel old. They are good young [players]. They are fresh, so for me, it’s really nice to work with them and speak with them. They are curious. They want to improve. Everyday they just want to improve.”

Before the game, Lacazette, who scored during Arsenal’s win against Chelsea, would have felt hard done by when he was dropped to the bench for yesterday’s match.
But the £47 million hitman [BBC Sport] didn’t complain and provided his manager with a much-needed headache heading into the West Brom encounter.
It will be interesting to see if Lacazette starts that match given that he scored from the bench because Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looked off the pace during his time on the pitch.
