Some Leeds United fans on social media have been raving over the performance of Ezgjan Alioski against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The North Macedonia interntional put in an unbelievable shift at left-back, and he rightly earned a lot of plaudits from supporters.
Alioski was tasked with keeping tabs on Gareth Bale, who scored a hat-trick last week, but he didn’t allow the Welshman to have a single sniff at goal all afternoon.
Understandably, Leeds supporters were full of praise for Alioski, with a number of supporters claiming that he deserves to be kept on for another season.
Alioski has been linked with an exit for quite some time now as his contract ticks towards expiry, but after his showing against Spurs, Leeds may be tempted to offer him new, more lucrative terms.
Whether or not he does sign a new contract at Elland Road remains to be seen, but one thing that is for sure is that he was brilliant against Tottenham on Saturday.
