Ian Wright has responded to Matteo Guendouzi’s post on Instagram after the midfielder left Arsenal for Hertha Berlin.

Guendouzi joined German club Hertha on loan from Arsenal on summer transfer deadline day.

The 21-year-old midfielder has expressed his delight on Instagram at making the move, and Arsenal legend Wright has responded to it.

Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil has also sent a message to the Frenchman on Twitter following his loan exit from the Emirates Stadium on Monday.

Wright responded: “I wish you all the luck in the world. Will always be one my favourites.”

Good move for Matteo Guendouzi?

Guendouzi straggled for playing time at Arsenal in recent months, and it was clear that the Frenchman was not in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta for this season.

The Bundesliga is a very strong and competitive domestic league, and the 21-year-old will be looking to make an instant impact in Germany.

The 21-year-old is a battling midfielder who can hold his own in the middle of the park, and he will be looking to show Arteta what he is missing.

Hertha are 13th in the Bundesliga table at the moment with three points from three matches.
