Some Liverpool fans on Twitter aren’t happy about a report involving Virgil van Dijk.
The big Dutch defender hasn’t played for the Reds since mid-October after suffering a knee injury in the draw with Everton.
It was later reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would have to make do without Van Dijk for the entire season, due to the severity of the issue.
Van Dijk has proven a massive player for the Anfield club since arriving three years ago, helping them to Champions League and Premier League glory over the past 18 months.
But despite being ruled out until next season, that may have been premature.
According to The Sunday World, there is ‘growing expectation’ that the former Southampton powerhouse could come back earlier than expected.
But some Liverpool supporters don’t want to see Klopp rush him back before his body – and knee – is ready.
