Real Madrid have been linked to Tottenham Hotspur pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has suggested that he will be on the hunt for reinforcements in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
The Frenchman is quoted by Sky Sports as saying: “In the winter market there will be no exits. But anything can happen in terms of arrivals, we will see.”
The Spanish champions picked up a narrow 3-2 win over Malaga on Saturday but are still seven points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, who have a game in hand.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have been underperforming this season and Zidane’s January focus is likely to be on adding a shiny new Galactico in attack.
That might worry Tottenham Hotspur, whose top two goalscorers Harry Kane and Dele Alli have both been identified as Madrid targets by Spanish publication Marca.
Spurs seem determined to keep hold of their best players, although Danny Rose’s impending exit, according to The Gambling Times, shows that their hand can be forced.
It is highly unlikely that Spurs will allow Kane or Alli to leave in the middle of the season, but any interest shown by Madrid may unsettle them ahead of the summer.
Zidane’s insistence that no players will be leaving Real may also be a blow to Spurs, who had been tipped to bring Gareth Bale back to North London by the Daily Mail.
