The experienced Championship striker is up for grabs.
Middlesbrough’s Jordan Rhodes looks dejected
This morning The Sun reported that Middlesbrough had informed striker Jordan Rhodes he could leave the club this summer – with his agent now hoping to find him a new club back in the Championship.
The report in the Sun’s paper edition (21/08/16, pg 61) suggests that he has failed to build up a good relationship with Boro boss Aitor Karanka, who is happy for him to leave and left him out of the squad to face Sunderland today.

Rhodes, a £9 million signing from Blackburn Rovers in January, will no doubt be a big target for several teams in the second tier – could Wolverhampton Wanderers be one of those teams?
Wolves have plenty of money by all accounts, after the takeover from the Fosun group.

The club could also use another striking option. Rhodes certainly has the pedigree at this level. The Scotland international has scored 93 goals in 189 games in the second-tier and Wolves would no doubt want that goalscoring ability at the club, rather than elsewhere.

Wolves have looked strong early in this campaign and with a little added firepower they could be serious promotion contenders.
Rhodes could be the man to take them there.
