Joe Hart would consider moving abroad again next season, according to the Sun, with his current loan at West Ham United from Manchester City having not gone to plan.

After being criticised for his performances in the first half of the season, Hart was replaced by Adrian for the Premier League match against City on December 3 because he could not play against his parent club, but has not returned between the sticks other than in cup competitions since then.

Adrian of West Ham United instructs his team during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Watford at London Stadium on February 10, 2018 in London, England.

The goalkeeper will remain at the London Stadium until the end of the current campaign, but with no future under Pep Guardiola is likely to be sent out on loan again in 2018/19 – before the 30-year-old’s contract expires at the end of that term.

Yet while Hart, who spent the 2016/17 season with Torino, would be open to a return to the continent, should Wolverhampton Wanderers be keeping a close eye on the situation?

Wolves currently lead the Championship by 12 points and bar a dramatic drop in form will be promoted to the English top flight for next campaign and are likely to need strong competition for current number one, John Ruddy.

Ruddy is an experienced ‘keeper who has played in the Premier League before with Norwich City, but with Carl Ikeme currently being treated for acute leukemia, Will Norris is the only available backup and Hart could not only compete for the starting spot but even make it his own.
