Wolverhampton Wanderers should consider the Tottenham Hotspur star as they prepare for their Premier League return.

Given the ambition that Wolves showed during the summer before they secured promotion out of the Championship, it would be little surprise if a large number of the club’s supporters were extremely excited about which players may arrive through the Molineux door this summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are preparing for life in the Premier League, and they may well have their eye on some ambitious deals, having already been linked with the likes of Jack Wilshere (via Daily Mirror) and Yaya Toure (via Daily Mirror).

While either would be an incredibly shrewd signing if Wolves managed to land them given their contract situations, the club should also consider an ambitious move for Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama amid reports that Spurs may be ready to sell the former Southampton star.
The Daily Mail reported towards the end of last month that Mauricio Pochettino could cash in on Wanyama this summer, and if he does decide to, Wolves should undoubtedly take a serious look in an attempt to confirm their lofty ambition.

The 26-year-old could be a sensational partner in the middle of the park for Ruben Neves, who – based on his form this past season – should prove to be a star at the highest level.
The pair are both fantastic at regaining possession, while neither is afraid to attempt an ambitious pass or effort on goal – both managed to leave their respective fans stunned with particular goals that they scored this past season.
Having won the Championship at a canter, Wolves certainly have the foundations and the plans to ensure that their stay in the top flight is not a brief one. Taking advantage of Spurs’ apparent willingness to sell Wanyama would be a superb way for the club to make an immediate statement and build the kind of midfield partnership that could enable Wolves to stun a lot of people next season.
