Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Matej Vydra from Derby but should Wolves challenge them for his signature?

Matej Vydra could well be on his way out of Derby County this summer with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting Leeds United’s interest in the forward.
The Rams want in excess of £10m for Vydra if they are to sell, after the 26-year-old top scored in the Championship in 2017/18 with 21 goals.

According to the report, Leeds will face serious competition for the Czech Republic international with several other teams from England’s second tier and the Premier League also interested.
Who else should be in the race?
Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the market for new players upfront following their promotion to the top flight, with the distinct possibility of youngsters Bright Enobakhare and Rafael Mir being their only options in the position soon.
That is because, just days after re-signing Benik Afobe from Bournemouth for £10m, the BBC reports that Stoke City are in the process of trying to land the striker for £12m.

Leo Bonatini has also completed his loan spell and will return to parent club Al-Hilal, while the West Midlands club have been linked by Portuguese publication Record with a temporary deal for Benfica’s Raul Jimenez.
Yet coud Vydra, who already has experience in the Premier League with Watford and West Bromwich Albion, be a better choice after a fine scoring campaign with Derby?
