Should West Ham United rival Juve for Liverpool’s Emre Can?

West Ham United boss David Moyes is on record as saying that he is targeting Premier League-hardened midfielders to bolster his squad this month.
And they don’t come much harder than Liverpool powerhouse Emre Can.
The likes of Joe Allen and Harry Arter have been linked with moves to West Ham recently, but the Germany midfielder is a cut above the rest he would be a fantastic addition.

The 23-year-old, who turns 24 this month, has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus in recent months but Sky Sports reported that the former Bayern Munich talent – whose contract expires in the summer – will not be leaving for Italy during this transfer window.
If Juventus are out of the picture for now then it gives other sides a chance to steal a march on the Italian giants and West Ham should certainly be among the teams trying to coax him from Merseyside.

Still only 23, Can has the talent to develop into an outstanding Premier League player but the arrival of Naby Keita in the summer means that he might not get the chance to be a prominent player for Liverpool.
But he absolutely could be for the Hammers if they were to make a cheeky move in January.
