Should West Ham United make second bid for Everton’s Kevin Mirallas?

West Ham United had offers turned down for Everton’s Kevin Mirallas in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, Everton sent Kevin Mirallas home from training for not putting in enough effort earlier this week – and that should alert West Ham United to his potential availability.

Mirallas was deemed not to be training hard enough by Everton’s coaches, and Unsworth banished him from Finch Farm to show his displeasure at the Belgium winger’s attitude.

Mirallas’ future at Everton is now firmly in the balance, with the January transfer window coming ever nearer.

And West Ham may well be interested in seeing if they could bring the Belgian international to the London Stadium.

Sky Sports reported how West Ham had targeted Mirallas during the summer transfer window, but their loan bid was rejected.

At that time it seemed that Mirallas was set to have a part to play for Everton, but his attitude may well have ruined his chances of featuring any time soon.

David Unsworth is among the leading candidates to land the Everton job on a full time basis, and if that happens that Mirallas will have some serious making up to do, if he is to come back into the 44-year-old boss’s first-team plans.

At West Ham, though, Mirallas could have a key role to play.

The Hammers have lacked creativity so far this season, and if Mirallas was to arrive at the London Stadium he would surely help make the struggling side a much greater attacking threat.
