Following West Ham United’s disastrous 2-1 defeat to relegation threatened Hull City, the Hammers put themselves in relegation danger themselves, further adding to the pressure on manager Slavan Bilic’s shoulders.
Andrea Rannochia’s 85th minute header completed a comeback for the Tigers, having recovered well following Andy Carroll’s opener, and condemned West Ham to their fourth consecutive defeat.
The West Ham boardroom now need to come up with a solution and fast in order to preserve their Premier League status, with West Ham having to face Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in their remaining nine matches, as well as two testing away trips to Stoke City and Burnley.
That solution could involve sacking Bilic, who hasn’t managed a win in two months now, and there a lot of keen eyes watching West Ham in anticipation for what could come next.

Their choices are simple. Either they stick with Bilic and hope he can steer the club away from a catastrophic relegation, or sack him incredibly soon and find a firefighter manager – someone experienced in keeping teams afloat – to replace him.
Results from teams around them could prompt a knee-jerk reaction from the board, but one way or the other, West Ham need to sort out a plan – and that could involve deciding Bilic’s future for him before the end of the season.
