West Ham United are reportedly interested in appointing Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager at some stage.

According to a report from the Daily Express, West Ham are interested in appointing Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann as Slaven Bilic’s successor at the London Stadium as the Croatian continues to come under the pressure.
The Hammers have endured a miserable season so far, with only goal difference keeping them outside the bottom three in the Premier League, and the 3-0 defeat to Brighton seeing the supporters flood out of the stadium well before the full-time whistle.

The Express reports that Bilic’s days with the Irons could be numbered as the board begin to, tentatively, consider replacements for the current boss, and Nagelsmann is being considered for the post after the fantastic job that he has done in the Bundesliga.
Of course, if Nagelsmann does get the job, he may want to make some of his own signings to try and get West Ham out of the trouble that they currently find themselves in – and one target they should perhaps consider is a player who has previously had a taste of the Premier League, and has done well during his time in Germany.
Andrej Kramaric spent a short spell on Leicester’s books, but arguably did not get a proper chance to show what he could do, and he headed to Hoffenheim to rebuild his career after his time at the King Power Stadium.

He has since scored 22 Bundesliga goals, including 15 in 34 top flight games last season as Hoffenheim finished in the top four. And he was Croatia’s hero in their recent World Cup qualifier against Ukraine as he scored both of the goals in the 2-0 win.
West Ham arguably still need additional depth up front, and if they manage to appoint Nagelsmann, if they do decide to part company with Bilic at some stage in the future, offering Kramaric the chance to return to the Premier League may not be a bad idea at all.
