The Atletico Madrid left-back would be a useful addition for West Ham United.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will surely be looking to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium this summer, in an effort to build a squad who are capable of making a sustained push for the top seven next season.
One particular area where the Chilean must look to strengthen is his left-back department, with Aaron Cresswell proving to be unreliable from a fitness perspective, and Arthur Masuaku being linked with a move away from the London Stadium (The Sun).
And with this in mind, the Hammers should consider making a move for Atletico Madrid ace Filipe Luis, who will be available on a free transfer this summer.
West Ham will have to move quick, however, with Goal Brazil reporting that Wolves have already begun talks to sign the 33-year-old.
Luis is incredibly experienced in playing at the very highest level, and he boasts an impressive CV with a La Liga winner’s medal, two Europa League trophies and two Champions League runner-up medals to his name.
The Brazilian is a sound defender, but he also has a lot to offer in the final third, and he might just be an upgrade on Cresswell at West Ham.

One warning for the Hammers, however, will be Luis’s failed stint with Chelsea, and questions have been asked as to whether he can handle the robust nature of the Premier League.
His availability on a free transfer, however, means that there will be little risk involved in signing him, and West Ham must do all they can to bring him to east London this summer.
